Our second full School Year Session is officially in full swing at CMC! We've been very busy welcoming four new girls and one new team member, Jimena, to our small community. Change is an opportunity to learn for young and old alike! We're hopeful that the changes we've made to our community this school year will build resilience, independence, and strength in us all individually and as a group in the weeks and months ahead.
In Children's House East, the introduction of a few new materials and community members has reinvigorated interest in both exploration and new skill building among us all:
We've had two very special additions to our Morning Work Cycle these past two weeks in celebrating two children's fourth birthdays with them! A big thanks to Anna for producing some clips from Hannah's Birthday Walk on September 29th:
We're also very happy supporting our work in Children's House East with new additions to our hallway and outdoors! If you know a child enrolled at CMC and have not done so already, be sure to engage them in conversation around our Lending Library and growing tree cookie collection.

This fall at CMC, we are requesting all children arrive at school each day wearing a clean, dry mask. We also ask you help your child pack at least two extra masks along with just the food needed to enjoy a nutritious, filling lunch in resealable containers (please avoid prepackage foods as well as anything that may be understood a treat or dessert).
We're looking forward to making many happy memories over the remainder of the fall as well as sharing our children's progress with many of you on Family Guide Conference Day on the 23rd.
