We are families and educators working to build a new Montessori option on the North Side of Columbus, OH. We share a desire to create an accessible and welcoming school environment where all children, including our own, will be supported in their innate drive to learn, find community, and develop to their fullest potential. Our founding families were welcomed to their children's first day of school on January 6th, 2020. We look forward to welcoming new families to our community throughout 2021!

Assistant Director

Anna Strench is a graduate of The Ohio State University with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and a Master's degree in Early Childhood Education. As a graduate student, she built her commitment to advocating for children, their families, and the community through student teaching at Burroughs Elementary School in West Columbus. After graduating, Anna earned her Pre-K to 3rd grade teaching license and served as a Lead Early Head Start Teacher in a mixed-age, birth-to-three classroom at Columbus Early Learning Centers for three years. She has worked closely with many resource groups, such as: St. Vincent Family Center, Help me Grow, Action for Children, Food for a Long Life, and The OSU Early Head Start Partnership Program. Anna was born in Sweden and - although she moved to the States as a young child - she still considers Sweden to be home. She now resides in Grandview with her dog Roxie, and loves to find new parks to explore and hike. When she is not at school, Anna enjoys playing guitar, painting, and photography; music and art are both passions she loves to share with children. Anna is happy to use her knowledge and experience to support the staff, children, and families of CMC in building an inclusive and collaborative community.
